We are currently hiring for:



Primary Responsibilities: The Program Coordinator/Instructor will serve as the lead instructor for contracted MMW financial literacy programs. The coordinator will ensure the successful delivery a full-year in-person financial literacy program at a local school partner as well as support My Money Workshop’s ongoing virtual programs. This role will be hybrid. Teaching will be done at client location and other duties can be performed remotely:

Duties Include:

  • Provide 15-20 hours of support each week
  • Serve as lead instructor for annual financial literacy program at a local client partner. This program will run the duration of the 2021-2022 school year. The program will run about 6 hours per week. Prep and travel time is considered in overall requirements for this role
  • Work with Community and Communications Manager to assign co-instructors for specified in-person program and collaborate with volunteers throughout the workshops/series to ensure accurate delivery of material
  • Support the Director of Client Programs and Partnerships in developing curriculum presentations
  • Sit in volunteer instructor trainings as needed
  • Support Director of Client Programs and Partnerships in setup for all field trips and guest speaker events for in-person programs
  • Perform student assessments and grading
  • Other tasks, projects and responsibilities as requested by the Executive Director


  • Provide ongoing reports on workshop attendance and student engagement to the Executive Director and Director of Client Programs and Partnerships


The Part-Time Program Coordinator/Instructor reports directly to the Executive Director


This is a one-year contract position with the possibility of extension. The Part-Time Program Coordinator/Instructor position is Part Time (15-20 hours per week); My Money Workshop hours of operation are Monday – Friday. As a virtual organization, employees can work flexible hours. However, this role will require availability between 8am-12pm. Specific hours will be determined based on organizational needs.


  • Available to teach in-person in a school setting
  • Previous teaching experience is a plus
  • Economics/Financial Services background preferable
  • Professional phone manner with friendly, helpful, customer service demeanor
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal); desire to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers and clients a must
  • Desire and ability to work with diverse populations
  • Proficiency with MS Office required, understanding of databases preferable, strong data entry skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and life-long learner
